When do I choose my subjects?
Most South African learners choose their FET subjects at the end of Grade 9, for Grade 10 to 12.
Should I take Maths or Maths Literacy?
If there's any chance you'll want engineering, medicine, science, IT or chartered accounting, choose Mathematics. Many other careers accept Maths Literacy.
Can I change subjects later?
Sometimes, early in Grade 10. After that it gets harder, so choose carefully.
